The Sunday Ritual

The Sunday ritual
Monday morning is already traumatic enough without having to search for a missing sock or discover that the shirt is stained.
We often arrive at the start of the week already behind on our mental schedule. Anticipating the wardrobe preparation on Sunday transforms the beginning of the week from an emergency into a controlled launch. It’s not obsession — it’s engineering. Twenty minutes on Sunday evening save you at least forty minutes of micro-decisions scattered across the week, plus the stress of last-minute improvisation.
To do
The weather check: Look at the 5-day forecast. This alone eliminates half the wardrobe decisions for the week.
Pre-set the outfits: Arrange 3-5 complete outfits (including accessories) on hangers or in a dedicated section of the closet.
The “stain check”: Inspect each garment for stains, missing buttons, or needed ironing. Better to discover on Sunday than Monday at 7 AM.
“A well-prepared week starts the evening before.”
